Holistic therapies nurture balance of the energy within the body to improve overall wellness
Massage has many physical and physiological benefits
It aids relaxation and brings a sense of calm by releasing endorphins, the chemicals that create feelings of well-being, as well as reducing production of stress hormones like cortisol and adrenalin. It can also improve immune response, mental health and aid sleep. Relaxing the mind and body increases flexibility and reduces muscle tension.

Hot stones massage is carried out using volcanic Basalt stones, high in iron ore which gives them their ability to retain heat. The stones allow massage therapies to work deeper into your muscle tissue to allow increased blood flow to aid removal of toxins. The nurturing sensation of the stones brings a sense of calm and emotional balance.

Foot Reflexology
50 minute £40
Including hot stones £45
Reflexology works on the principle that certain areas of the foot, known as reflex points, correspond to specific organs and systems within the body. For example, the base of the big toes corresponds to the neck. Using specialist, precise movements across these reflex points allows “congested” areas to be felt. This congestions may mean that a part of the body is unable to perform as it should resulting in pain, discomfort or illness within the body. Working these reflex points and breaking down blockages in the nerve endings, allows a better flow of blood, nutrients and ultimately energy throughout the entire body. It stimulates the body to self heal and increases the removal of toxins. It is also incredibly relaxing aiding the reduction of stress hormone production, and slowing breathing and heart rate.

Reflexology may bring relief from many conditions including: Neck and Back Pain and Stiffness
Digestive Issues, Menstrual and Hormonal Concerns
Sleeping Problems, Stress and Anxiety.

Hopi Ear Candling
45 minutes £37
Hopi Ear Candling, also known as Thermal Auricular Therapy, uses hollow candles made of cotton, soaked in beeswax, which are gently inserted into the ear. When lit, the candle acts as a chimney, causing the warm air inside it to rise and create a vacuum.
Warm vapour and the gentle vibration of the flickering candle provides a soothing inner ear massage, as the candle induces a revitalising warmth upon the head and ears. Gentle fizzing or popping sounds may be heard, which soothe and relax.
This restorative therapy helps to equalise the pressure in the head, ears, nose, throat and sinuses and may help to relieve conditions, such as vertigo, tinnitus, blocked sinuses and headaches. It is particularly effective before and after flying, or for regular swimmers who may experience pressure within the ears. It can also aid removal of excess ear wax, not by sucking the wax out, but by stimulating the ear to eliminate the wax naturally and safely.
I use only BIOSUN Hopi ear candles, which contain filters to ensure that no residue from the candle can enter the ear.
The treatment also includes a pressure point scalp and facial drainage massage to further relieve pressure, stimulate the sinuses and encourage drainage, leaving you relaxed, refreshed and rebalanced.
